ELBOW ARTHROSCOPY (Key-Hole Surgery)
|
Elbow arthroscopy is a technique that allows surgical inspection and treatment using small 1cm incisions, through which thin surgical instruments are introduced into the elbow. Most elbow problems, requiring surgical management, can be treated arthroscopically, which has the advantage of less surgical(iatrogenic) damage, better inspection for diagnostic purposes, and quicker rehabilitation.
